Hey there! I am DeAndra! Before I get to know more about you, I'm excited for you to take a tiny peek into my life and what makes me excited!
I am an art girly! You name the project, I've probably tried it. My current art fads include crocheting, drawing and painting, and I'd love to get into furniture upholstery! My husband Alex and I enjoy movie critiquing, watching the Office and King of Queens, taking weekend roadtrips, and baking.
Apart from my passion of creativity, I also find so much enjoyment in my travels! A few fun places I've been include Hawaii for 3 months, Alaska (three times!), and Belize (countless times haha).
I'm passionate about so many things, but one of my main passions is getting to know you as more than just a client! I'm here to be your friend and your go-to moment capturer. Connections last a life-time, and I love building and keeping them as much as I can.

My style is relaxed, warm and genuine, and your session will be exactly that. I'm here to capture your love and your sweet moments, the perfect and the sometimes messy. My finished albums are documentary and heartfelt, and your photos will tell the story of your day.
I love to hang out! My goal is to have your session feeling so natural, just like some friends catching up. If you don't normally feel comfortable in front of the camera, that is totally okay and absolutely normal!

My Connections
As you may have noticed, my connections are so super important to me. Apart from my clients (whom I prefer to consider as friends), I have a lot of important relationships that I value so much.
My family is a connection! I'm the oldest of three (sometimes crazy) sisters. We're always laughing, singing and dancing whenever we're all together. There's never a dry moment. I love my family so much.
My relationship with my husband, Alex, is also so special to me. We are newly weds and are trecking through this crazy awesome life together. He's one of my biggest supporters, and loves being the subject of my photography experiments.
My friends are a HUGE connection that I love to keep. We enjoy traveling, grabbing coffee, or hitting the gym together. I love meeting new people and putting smiles on as many faces as I can! I can't wait to put a smile on your face too!
And last but not least, my relationship with God is my most-important connection. I love showing Jesus to others through my work. Being diligent in what I do and being kind to everyone are great ways that I try to honor Him with my business, and that includes taking some awesome pictures!
My Photo Journey
Photography has been a passion of mine since I was 13. I remember secretly snatching my mom's digital point-and-shoot and taking photos of leaves and flowers outside. It wasn't until about four years ago that I really began to find my passion for portraiture. I had my first official photoshoot when I was 17, and that's what kicked it off for me!
Since I've started photographing your moments, I've learned so much about photography! Not just about taking nice pictures, but about the importance of being professional, and also being a friend to those I have the opportunity of meeting. I've been able to find myself, my brand, and my style, and I'm so excited to share that with you.
